Own the Conversation

What do we bring home after a season on the road?

A question we heard more than once. A new way to solve an old problem. A conversation with a partner that changes how we think about what comes next.

As our regional shows and Dejavoo Connect events wrap up for the year, the September edition of Inside Dejavoo brings those conversations back to our wider partner community. We’re sharing perspectives from WSAA and New York, along with the tools and ideas we’re carrying into Q4.

This issue also makes space to remember September 11 and the New York roots that remain part of Dejavoo’s story.

September brought us to the end of Q3—and to the end of this year’s regional shows and Dejavoo Connect events.

Throughout the season, we’ve had opportunities to meet partners, share what we’re building, and hear what is changing in the businesses they serve. WSAA and our September 29 Dejavoo Connect event in New York gave us two final chances to continue those conversations in person before turning our attention to Q4.

The questions we take into the fall are practical ones. What is becoming easier for merchants? Where is the work still too complicated? And what will our partners need as businesses prepare for the holiday season?

No two merchants arrive with exactly the same needs. One may be ready to connect more of their commerce channels. Another may need a POS that helps a restaurant manage orders and service.
Another may simply need a dependable way to accept payments and get to work. Our job is to help our partners recognize those differences and have a useful answer for each one.

In this issue of Inside Dejavoo, we’ll hear from our team at WSAA, explore what’s new, take a closer look at DejaPayPro, and spotlight a new way to offer ACH through VeriCheck.

The events may be behind us for the year,
but the conversations continue. What we
heard this season should help shape what
we bring to our partners next.

ON THE ROAD

From the Field | WSAA

Before WSAA, we asked partners during our Pre-Game Webinar whether they would be attending the show. Most of those who answered said no—yet they still joined the conversation.

That stayed with us. A regional show brings people together in one place, but its ideas should reach everyone who has a stake in where the industry is going. Whether a partner met us at WSAA or followed from home, the questions were relevant: Which technologies solve real merchant problems? How can an ISO offer more than a payment terminal? And how do we grow without losing the relationships that make growth possible?

Ron, Larry, Jennifer, and Barath represented Dejavoo at WSAA. For Larry Roberts, one takeaway stood out: the value of staying connected—to our partners, to emerging technology, and to the opportunities taking shape across the industry.

WSAA continues to be a great opportunity to connect with key players across the payments industry and strengthen important relationships. This year’s conversations offered valuable insight into where the industry is heading, particularly around AI, technology, and new partnership opportunities. It was great to represent Dejavoo, reconnect with familiar faces, and come away with new ideas and opportunities to explore.

WHAT’S NEW

More Ways To Say Yes

One message has carried through our conversations this season: partners need the flexibility to serve different merchants in different ways.

A business connecting in-person and online commerce may need iPOSpays. A restaurant or retailer looking for more than a payment terminal may need DejaPayPro. Another merchant may be best served by the familiar, direct-to-host foundation of DVPay.

These are three paths into three different conversations. Across them, we’re continuing to expand the capabilities and hardware partners can bring to the table. Recent iPOSpays updates include EBT chip and contactless support and additional security capabilities. Card Updater is currently in a closed pilot. The P18, P8 Dual, and P8 Dual Go! offer evolving hardware choices for different merchant environments.

As partners prepare for Q4, the question is not simply, “What’s new?” It is, “Which of these options helps this merchant move forward?”

PLATFORM SPOTLIGHT

DejaPayPro | Built to Keep Up with the Business

The fall and holiday months can put everyday operations under a brighter spotlight. For restaurants, orders may come from the dining room, takeout, and delivery platforms at once. Staff need to keep service moving while staying on top of what is happening in the kitchen and across the business.

DejaPayPro continues to grow around that work. DejaPayPro Delivers brings delivery orders into a central workflow. Fresh KDS helps connect the front of the house with the kitchen. Table Mapping gives staff a clearer view of seating and service, while inventory and reporting tools help managers make informed decisions.

Paired with hardware such as the P18, DejaPayPro gives partners a way to discuss the whole operation with a restaurant or retail merchant—not only the moment of payment.

Ask how DejaPayPro keeps getting better.

INTEGRATION SPOTLIGHT

VeriCheck ACH

“What other ways can my customers pay?”

When a merchant asks that question, Dejavoo partners can now include ACH in the discussion. VeriCheck ACH is available through the iPOSpays ecosystem, extending the payment options partners can offer alongside traditional card acceptance.

Supported experiences include payment links, CloudPOS, hosted payment pages, recurring payments, and integrations. That range gives partners room to consider how ACH fits the way a particular merchant collects payments, rather than treating it as a separate, one-size-fits-all offering.

For an existing merchant, it can be a reason to revisit an unmet need. For a prospective merchant, it can open a broader conversation about payment choice. Getting started requires enabling VeriCheck for the ISO account and onboarding the merchant with VeriCheck.

MEMORABLE EVENTS

Remembering September 11

This September marked 25 years since the attacks of September 11, 2001.

Dejavoo began in New York. As a company with roots in the city, we feel a particular responsibility to remember this day and the people whose lives were forever changed by it. Its impact reaches far beyond New York and remains with families and communities today.

We remember the 2,977 people who lost their lives, the loved ones who carry their absence, and the first responders and rescue workers whose courage and service continue to be felt.

As the years pass, remembrance also
means sharing their stories with those
too young to remember that morning. We
honor the people behind the history, and
we keep our promise to never forget.
