We use your personal data for our legitimate interests, which are ways that you would reasonably expect us to use your data for our business purposes. We collect different personal data from you depending on how you interact with us, as listed out in the categories above.

  • Identify usage trends. We may process information about how you use our website to better understand how it the website is used so we can improve it.
  • Tailor the content we display to you regarding our Products and communications.
  • Determine the effectiveness of our marketing and promotional campaigns. We may process your information to better understand how to provide marketing and promotional campaigns that are most relevant to you.
  • Record and review how users interact with our website to improve website functionality.
  • Monitor the website performance. We may process your information to run metrics such as total number of visitors, traffic, and usage patterns.
  • Improve, support, secure, and manage our website.
  • Develop and improve our Products, including understanding our customer base and the effectiveness of our marketing, events, promotional campaigns, and publications.

We do not collect sensitive personal information or special categories of data. 

Information automatically collected

We automatically collect certain information when you visit our website. This information does not reveal your specific identity (like your name or contact information) but may include device and usage information, such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, device name, country, location, information about how and when you visited our website, and other technical information. This information is necessary to maintain the security and operation of our website, and for our internal analysis and reporting purposes.

The information we collect includes:

 

  • Log and Usage Data. Log and usage data is service-related, diagnostic, usage, and performance information our servers automatically collect when you access or use our website and which we record in log files. Depending on how you interact with us, this log data may include your IP address, device information, browser type, and settings and information about your activity in the website (such as the date/time stamps associated with your usage, pages and files viewed, searches, and other actions you take such as which features you use), device event information (such as system activity, error reports (sometimes called “crash dumps”), and hardware settings).

 

  • Device Data. We collect device data such as information about your computer, phone, tablet, or other device you use to access the website. Depending on the device used, this device data may include information such as your IP address (or proxy server), device and application identification numbers, location, browser type, hardware model, internet service provider and/or mobile carrier, operating system, and system configuration information.

 

  • Location Data. We collect location data such as information about your device’s location, which can be either precise or imprecise. How much information we collect depends on the type and settings of the device you use to access the website. For example, technologies to collect geolocation data that tells us your current location (based on your IP address). You can opt out of allowing us to collect this information either by refusing access to the information or by disabling your Location setting on your device. However, if you choose to opt out, you may not be able to certain functionalities.

How We Share Your Personal Data

We may share your personal data in the following situations:

  • Affiliates. We may share your information with companies that we own or control, or that are under common ownership or control.
  • When we use Google Analytics. We may share your information with Google Analytics to track and analyze the use of the Services. The Google Analytics Advertising Features that we may use include Google Display Network Impressions Reporting and Google Analytics Demographics and Interests Reporting.   • Social Media and Public Forums. In certain circumstances, you may have the ability to share comments, testimonials, and other postings in public forums. If you choose to participate in these public forums, your personal information may be available to the general public. If you interact with us on social media platforms, the platform may be able to collect information about you and your interaction with us. If you interact with social media objects on our website (for example, by clicking on a Facebook “like” button), both the platform and your connections on the platform may be able to view that activity.   • Business Transition. If Dejavoo, or any portion of our assets, are acquired by, merged with, transferred to, or invested in by another company, we may share your personal data with that company or other third parties involved in the business transition. We cannot promise that an acquiring party or the merged entity will have the same privacy practices or treat your information the same as described in this Policy.
  • Legal. We may share information where necessary to comply with applicable law, to respond to requests from law enforcement agencies or other government authorities or third parties, as permitted by law, and without your consent when it is necessary to protect our customers, employees, or property, in emergency situations, or to enforce our rights.

Cookies And Other Tracking Technologies

We may use cookies and similar tracking technologies (like web beacons and pixels) to access or store information. Information about how we use such technologies and how you may refuse certain cookies is available in our Cookie Notice.

Retention and Disposal of Personal Data

We retain information as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which we collected it, for legitimate business reasons, or as required by law. However, we may need to keep your data for longer than our specified retention periods to comply with legal or other obligations (e.g., such as tax, accounting, or other legal requirements). Personal data is disposed of by using secure means, such as electronic deletion or making it data anonymization. 

How We Keep Your Personal Data Safe

We have implemented appropriate and reasonable technical and organizational security measures, including encryption protocols, access controls, and regular security audits, designed to safeguard the security of any personal data we process. The objective of measures is to prevent accidental loss, unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure of personal data.

Our website is not directed to individuals under 13 and we do not knowingly solicit or collect personal information from children. If we are notified or discover that a child under the age of 13 has submitted personal information to us, we will take reasonable steps to delete the information.

Withdrawing your consent

If we are relying on your consent to process your personal information, which may be express and/or implied consent depending on the applicable law, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. Controls For Do-Not-Track Features

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track (“DNT”) feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. We do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanisms that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this Privacy Notice.

  • You can designate an authorized agent to make a request under the CCPA on your behalf. We may deny a request from an authorized agent that does not submit proof that they have been validly authorized to act on your behalf in accordance with the CCPA.

Verification process

Upon receiving your request, we will need to verify your identity to determine you are the same person about whom we have the information in our system. These verification efforts require us to ask you to provide information so that we can match it with information you have previously provided us. 

We will only use personal information provided in your request to verify your identity or authority to make the request. To the extent possible, we will avoid requesting additional information from you for verification purposes. However, if we cannot verify your identity from the information already maintained by us, we may request that you provide additional information for the purposes of verifying your identity and or security or fraud-prevention purposes. We will delete such additionally provided information as soon as we finish verifying you.

Colorado, Connecticut, and Virginia Residents

This section applies only to Colorado, Connecticut and Virginia residents. Under the Colorado Privacy Act (“CPA”), Connecticut’s Data Privacy Act (“CTDPA”), Virginia’s Consumer Data Protection (“CDPA”) Act, residents of Colorado, Connecticut, and Virginia have the listed below.
