QUICK REFERENCE GUIDE // QD Terminal Line

These steps have been provided to assist you with your Android payment device with DvPay (AURA) software. IMPORTANT: As well as the payment icons (ie Card, PIN Debit, EBT Food, EBT Cash and Cash), the terminal’s idle screen also displays the following icons:
- Access to the FAVORITES menu
- Access to the CORE menu
- CALL ME feature

Credit Card Sale
- Tap on the Credit icon.
- Tap on the Sale icon.
- Enter Server ID# and press Ok. Conditional on the terminal’s configuration.
- Enter the Sale Amount and press Ok.
- If configured, terminal will prompt to Select or Enter Tip amount.
- Tap (contactless only) or insert chip card.
- The transaction is processed. Sales receipt will print with details of the transaction.
Debit Sale
- Tap on the Debit icon.
- Tap on the Sale icon.
- Enter the Server ID# and press ok. Conditional on the terminal’s configuration.
- Enter the Sale Amount and press Ok.
- If configured, terminal will prompt to Select or Enter Tip amount.
- Tap (contactless only) or insert chip card.
- Customer enters PIN on terminal or PIN pad and presses Ok.
- The transaction is processed. Sales receipt will print with details of the transaction.
Credit Card Return
- Tap on the Credit icon.
- Tap on the Return icon.
- Input the Return Amount and press Ok.
- If prompted, confirm the return amount by tapping Ok or No. Conditional on the terminal’s configuration.
- If prompted, input Manager Password (default password is 1234).
- Tap (contactless only) or insert chip card.
- The transaction is processed. Return receipt will print with details of the transaction.
Manually Entered Sale
- Tap on the Credit icon.
- Tap on the Sale icon.
- Enter the Server ID # and press Ok. Conditional on the terminal’s configuration.
- Enter the Sale Amount and press Ok.
- If configured, terminal will prompt to Select or Enter Tip amount.
- Tap on the credit card icon on the Credit Sale screen. (Insert, Swipe or Enter Card #)
- Manually enter Card #.
- Follow the CNP prompts (enter exp. date, zip code, etc). Conditional on the terminal’s configuration.
- The transaction is processed. Sales receipt will print with details of the transaction.
Void Credit Transaction
- Tap on the Credit icon.
- Tap on the Void icon.
- Enter the Void Amount and press Ok.
- If prompted, confirm the void amount by tapping Ok or No. Conditional on the terminal’s configuration.
- If prompted, input Manager Password (default password is 1234).
- Tap (contactless only) or insert chip card.
- Enter the void transaction # and press Ok.
- The transaction is processed. Void receipt will print with details of the transaction.
Void By Transaction
- Tap the
icon to access the Favorites menu.
- Tap Void Transaction.
- If prompted, input Manager Password (1234 default).
- Tap By Transaction #.
- Input Transaction # to be voided and press Ok.
- Confirm the void transaction by tapping Select.
- If prompted, confirm the void amount by tapping Ok or Cancel. Conditional on the terminal’s configuration.
- If prompted, input Manager Password (1234 default).
- The void is processed. Void receipt will print with details of the transaction.
Reprint Receipt
- Tap the
icon to access the Favorites menu.
- Tap Reprint Receipt.
- If prompted, input Manager Password (1234 default).
- Tap desired option (Last, By Transaction # or By Card Number).
- Follow prompts and transaction receipt prints.
Call Me Feature (Must be Enabled)
Edit Tips By Transaction Number
- Tap the
icon to access the Favorites menu.
- Tap Edit Tip.
- If prompted, input Manager Password (1234 default).
- Tap All.
- Tap Transaction #.
- Input Transaction # and press Ok.
- Transaction amount appears, input Tip Amount and press Ok.
- If prompted, confirm the tip amount by tapping Yes or No. Conditional on the terminal’s configuration.
- Repeat steps 5 and 6 as needed.
- After all desired tips have been adjusted, press the
key continually to return to the homescreen.
Settle Daily Batch
- Tap the
icon to access the Favorites menu.
- Tap Settle Daily Batch.
- If prompted, input Manager Password (1234 default).
- Terminal communicates with the host.
- Settlement report prints.
Printing Reports
- Tap the
icon to access the Favorites menu.
- Tap on Report.
- If prompted, input Manager Password (1234 default).
- Select desired report type (Daily Report or Summary Report).
- View or Print report.
Turn Server Prompt ON/OFF
- Tap the
icon to access the Core menu.
- Tap Applications.
- Tap Credit/Debit/EBT.
- Tap Setup.
- If prompted, input Manager Password (1234 default).
- Tap Trans Prompts.
- Tap Clerks.
- Tap Prompt.
- Tap to select desired option.
- Press the
key continually to return to the main screen.
Terminal Power Off/Reboot
- Press the
button on the side of the terminal and hold until a menu appears on the screen, with the following options: Power Off, Reboot, Airplane Mode and Silent Mode.
- Select the option you desire by tapping on the screen.
Wireless Icons
Wi-Fi icon will blink when not connected. It will remain static when connected successfully.
