“Print images” on Star Micronics printers
This setting is exclusive for Star printers for now. When enabled it changes printing logic to printing receipt as an image instead of text
It will not change the way receipt looks, but in some cases it can be a way to resolve some individual issues with printing
You can enable it from Printer settings screen on POS or on web
Enabling this toggle on either of the star printers (or on web) will enable it for all the star printers that are or will be connected to POS
New peripheral
To switch to the new function, switch terminal screens in settings to the new peripheral
Settings-->POS-->Peripheral Devices-->New)
Adding a terminal via Denovo

Adding a terminal on the POS.

Press “Add New”
Select a terminal from the list, or click "Add manually."
3.1 When adding a terminal manually, you need to enter the Description, TPN, and Auth Key.
Next, you need to enter the terminal information.
Description - terminal name
Default terminal - The terminal designated as 'Default terminal' will be selected by the system for transactions.
Active - allow to change terminal status (it is active by default)
Test connection - allow users to test connection between terminal and register
After filling out the information, click "Save."
Inactive terminals appear in gray and have an 'Inactive' status label next to them.
After that, you can set the receipt print type for the terminal on the “Receipts” tab
Terminals are visible within the same inventory — if one POS terminal adds a terminal, it becomes visible to other POS terminals. Therefore, if there is more than one POS terminal in the warehouse, there is no need to repeat the peripheral device setup steps — it is enough to do it once.
Internal terminal is added by default on devices and Denovo.

To set a terminal as the default:
Settings-->Terminals
Open the desired terminal and enable 'Default terminal'
Click "Save."

After this, only the default terminal will be available for payments. If no terminal is selected as default, all terminals accessible on the POS will be displayed during payment.
When selecting a terminal, you can also set it as the default by enabling the "Save the default terminal" option.
