Features:
If Shifts/Cash Drawer is NOT configured in Printer settings - unable to open/close shift
If Shifts/Cash Drawer is ON in POS settings, but not active in Printer settings - able to open/close shift
If Shifts/Cash Drawer is ON in POS settings, and active in Printer settings - able to open/close shift and Cash Drawer will be automatically opened while open/close shift and cash in/out/no sale and cash sales if it is configured in inventory
Shifts and Cash Drawer in one toggle in POS Settings
Shift can be opened in two ways:
Open More settings - Shifts - Open Shift
Press “Open Shift” icon on cart screen
After clicking on “Open Shift”, a window opens for entering the cash amount in the till.
To close shift:
Open More settings - Shifts - Close Shift
Cash drawer events | Descriptions |

Close Shift | When is shift closing required |
You can also close the shift using the Z-report.
You can also close the shift using the Z-report.
When there is no opened X/Z reports - buttons are disabled
After fit sale will be performed - buttons will be active
While closing the shift with time tracking ON - can change employees status:
those employees with checkboxes will change theirs statuses to OUT (if press to out)
or save their statuses if press “Continue”
Z-Report comment
Comment field is optional. It can be enabled/disabled in POS settings in the X/Z Reports section
When enabled it allows user to add coment to Z Report when it is being closed via comment dialogue

When multiple terminals are configured, the settlement request will be sent only to the terminal that processed the sales from this POS when closing the shift.
