You can set up automatic shift closure. If the register is on, a batch and z-report are automatically generated, the shift is closed, but the z-report is not printed. To configure this setting, go to POS Settings → X / Z Reports section.

You can set autoclose for any hour you want, from 12 AM to 11 PM.

Also, to remind you to close your shift, you can enable reminders by setting your preferred time. For more details, see /wiki/spaces/DEJ/pages/3916693524
