General settings and information

To be able to create Tips Declared report go to POS Settings and enable “Tips Declarations” and Shifts/Cash drawer” settings.

When “Tips Declarations” setting is enabled new option appears in Settings - X/Z Tapes

It will stay inactive if there is nothing to report about (no tips were declared or paid out during this shift) and if shift is not opened. If shift is not opened, declared tips will not be added to the report

All declared and paid out tips will be added to the report and available to view as long as the batch is opened. When batch is closed (Z Report is performed), Tips Declared report will be refreshed and cleaned

Content of the Tips Declared report

Tips Declared report includes:

Tips Declared title

Name of the operator 1

Tips Declared: amount

Paid out: amount

Name of the operator 2

Tips Declared: amount

Paid out: amount

…

Totals

This report is not printed automatically, you can print it manually by pressing the print icon in the right corner

Tips Declared

Operator is able to declare tips during clocking out from the PIN screen.

Tips Paid out

For the Paid Out option to appear you need to enable it in POS settings

To perform Paid Out operation Shift has to be opened. You can find this option in Settings - Shifts / Cash Drawer

Select reason - Tip Out - name of the operator you want to tip out to and enter tip amount. This amount will appear in the Tips Declared report under the operator you have selected
