This setting works both with scanning and enterring barcode manually

Full match

When set to full match, barcode will only be scanned (or enterred) successfully if it matches item barcode exactly. If there is any diference in the two barcodes, the item will not be found

Example:

Barcode “1234567890” is set to an item. Then if a barcode “4567890” is scanned (or enterred manually) the item with barcode “1234567890” will not be found

Partial match

When set to partial match, barcode will be scanned (or enterred) succefully if the scanned one in its full is an exact part of an item barcode

Example:

Barcode “1234567890” is set to an item. Then if a barcode “4567890” is scanned (or enterred manually) the item with barcode “1234567890” will be found
