There are 4 modes for tips:

1. Entering a tip on the Checkout screen

2. Entering a tip on the Terminal ("Select Tip" menu hasn't to show on the Checkout screen)

3. Disable tips ("Add Tip" menu hasn't to show on the Checkout screen)

Tip Settings

Make “Tips” enabled in POS settings

“Tip adjust” is available. For more details see *Tip Adjust

“Add Tip” button appears on the Checkout screen

Tip Presets

1. Go to “Tips Management” tab in POS settings to configure tip presets

or go to Setting Assistant (Tip screen)

2. ress “Add”

3. Tips can be added as a percentage or in dollars. Click on $ or % icon to change it

4. Enter amount and press “Enter”. Tip will be displayed in the list

5. Go to checkout screen and press “Add Tip”. Created preset is displayed:

6. It is possible to edit and delete tip preset

7. It is possible to create 3 different presets

Example

1. Add item to cart and go to checkout screen

2. “Add tip” button is available
   - If the consumer splits payments for each payment can be added a tip
   - A tip is stored for non-terminal and terminal transactions 

   Tips calculation

   checkout payment tool fee/discount with tips = disabled
   Payment tool fee is counted from subtotal amount (w/o tips)
   checkout payment tool fee/discount with tips = enabled
   Payment tool fee is counted from base (subtotal + tips) amount (with tips)
   Due = Total (w/o tips) + Tips
   

3. Press “Add tip” (e.g $1.00)

4. Enter tip amount or select preset

5. Press “Enter” button. Due amount has changed including tip

6. Pay. Tip amount is displayed on receipt:

7. Tip amount is displayed in Sales history for this transaction

8. XZ tapes includes Tips
